EXCILIGHT researchers Marco Colella (PhD 14), Piotr Pander (PhD 12), Marian Chapran (PhD 10) and Marharyta Vasylieva (PhD 1) have recently published papers in renowned journals such as the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, and Dyes and Pigments.
In February 2019, the work of Marco Colella (in collaboration with the EXCILIGHT PI Andrew Monkman and Andrew Danos) on the improvement of the performance of a TADF exciplex blend has been published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. Piotr Pander and the EXCILIGHT PI Fernando Dias took part in a collaborative effort in view of developing highly efficient red and NIR-emitting devices through the use of multinuclear complexes. This paper has been published in ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces.
In March 2019, on the same journal, EXCILIGHT researchers Marian Chapran, Marharyta Vasylieva and Piotr Pander highlighted the potential of intermolecular exciplexes in the area of organic light-emitting diodes within the publication "Realizing 20% External Quantum Efficiency in Electroluminescence with Efficient Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence from an Exciplex". Marian Chapran and Marharyta Vasylieva have also published their work on the use of novel phthalimide-based acceptors as exciplex-forming materials in Dyes and Pigments.
